2 years ago I couldn't run down the road without getting out of breath. I started doing the couch to 5k with my local running group and completed my first 5k in 36 minutes weighing in at 18 stone.
When I saw myself in a picture with our running group how big I was i decided I needed to do something about my weight.
With the Pete's help and our one to one meetings I changed how and what I ate. He encouraged a positive mindset and explained in layman's terms how to set and achieve my goals.
Running became a release for me and made me feel empowered and took away the stress of the day.
This year I ran the great north run and have lost over 4 stone. I am now running park runs under 26 minutes.
